Meet the girls of Tribe...

Hi ya'll!

So...Sarah and I decided that adding blog posts to our website might be a good way for all of you to get to know us better as individuals...and a company!  When you shop at Tribe, you are not just buying our products, you are essentially supporting a dream and a passion we have of helping others feel good about themselves!  It doesn't hurt that we have similar tastes and a love of all things fashion-related...it makes this 'job' pretty seamless and easy.

Our first pop-ups we did with the company we worked for prior were so fun and a great way to engage with people in the community...we thought...why aren't we doing this on our own?  And from that day forth, we started brainstorming ways we could make our own brand and company work.

One of our first tasks was deciding on a name for our company.  My mom, Sarah's mother-in-law, has always described our family as a 'tribe'.  This means that we are always to love the people God gave us, whether it be family or close friends/neighbors/etc...and love them hard.  This resonated with both of us and one day, while throwing around names we liked, Tribe was suggested.  It just felt right. From then on...our dream was born!

Besides doing our pop-ups as often as we see fit in the community, we are offering order pickups at my residence so you can get your items the same day you order them, if this is a possibility for you!  Besides that, our goal is to strive for fast and affordable shipping, as we know that that is important in today's e-commerce world!

If you ever have any input on items you would like to see us carry at Tribe, please shoot us an email and we will gladly look into it for you!  We have tons of ideas in the works, and are excited to make them a reality.

I hope this gives you some insight into our company and why we chose the things we did.  We plan to use this blog space to let you in on the latest trends in fashion and also any looks we are loving at the moment.

I'm going to leave you all with the bloopers from Sarah's and my photoshoot for Tribe (Shout-out to Annie Mitchell from Polka Dot Photography for our awesome pictures!).  Let's just say we won't be getting a call from any modeling agencies anytime soon...and I need to work on that double chin.  What can I say???!  I like food!

Until next time...

Chelsea xo
